Portable huts provided by Taicang-based Suzhou WT Tent have been assembled in Hebei province's Zhangjiakou, a co-host of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, local media reported on Jan 21.

A 60-member team arrived in Zhangjiakou last September to assemble the tents. They crew completed the task in early January.

The tents will be used for security checks, epidemic control tasks, and vehicle maintenance.

Suzhou WT Tent is a professional manufacturer of aluminum-alloy structure tents in China. Its tents are widely used in exhibitions, conventions and disaster relief missions.

The company first provided tents for the 2008 Olympic Games. Last year, the company also supported the 14th National Athletic Meet and CISM Military World Games with their products.

Chen Yugang, chairman of the company, said that his company is honored to be able to take part in the Olympics and contribute to the development of winter sports.
