Taicang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, recently released a three-year plan regarding the development of its aviation and aerospace industry.

According to the plan, the local government will strive to increase the scale of the aviation and aerospace industry and enhance its innovation and manufacturing capabilities. The main goal would be to turn Taicang into a national manufacturing and innovation hub for the sector.

To date, more than 100 aviation and aerospace enterprises with a combined output value of 15 billion yuan ($2.25 billion) have been set up in Taicang.
