The Nike China Zero Carbon Smart Logistics Center was launched in Taicang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province on March 21.

A wind power facility and an automated warehouse were put into operation at the launch ceremony, marking a major milestone in the transformation and upgrading of the Taicang Nike China Logistics Center.

Suzhou vice mayor Tang Xiaodong, Taicang Party secretary Wang Xiangyuan, and the general manager of Nike Greater China Dong Wei attended the event.

Wang said at the launch ceremony that the zero carbon smart logistics center has provided a benchmark for the city's green industrial development.

He added that the center will play a leading role in advancing the digital transformation of Taicang's logistics and trade industry.
