Huangjing town in Taicang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, has been listed among the top national agricultural towns, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced on Aug 25.

The town has built a modern agricultural park with tens of thousands of mu of high-standard farmland, mainly growing rice and vegetables.

The town invested nearly 40 million yuan ($5.48 million) in 2019 to build the city's largest vegetable base - the modern agricultural park, which focuses on building an intelligent vegetable industrial chain that encompasses mechanized cultivation, cold chain logistics, and the recycling of residual vegetables.
