The 2023 Entrepreneurs' Happiness Dialogue was held in Taicang, a county-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, on Sept 19.

Governors from cities such as Suzhou and Taizhou in Jiangsu province and Wenzhou and Yuyao in Zhejiang province shared their perspectives and insights on how to optimize the business environment during the event.

Zhang Qiao, deputy Mayor of Suzhou, said at the dialogue that the Suzhou government has over the past few years been striving to create a conducive environment for entrepreneurs by strengthening market supervision and law enforcement, and the city has been ranked among China's most attractive cities in foreigners' eyes for 10 years in a row.

Seven representatives from enterprises including Peijia Medical (Suzhou) Co also shared their stories of starting businesses in the above-mentioned cities.

Taicang was honored among the "cities most satisfying to entrepreneurs in 2023" during the event, indicating that it has made significant strides in optimizing its business environment.

The evaluation indicators include enterprises' efficiency costs, policy environment and public service capacity.
