Xuchuan Chemical Co Ltd made a step ahead with its major project, passing the final inspection.

With an expected annual production capacity of 280,000 tons of advanced degradable polyurethane polymers, the project is backed by a total investment exceeding 1.18 billion yuan ($165.54 million). It plays a pivotal role in advancing China's high-end degradable polyurethane polymer materials, enhancing the international competitiveness of environmentally friendly polyurethane.

Initiated in 2016 with a 10-million-yuan grant from Jiangsu province, the project strategically invested in cutting-edge equipment, including imported synthesis reaction systems and a water cycling system. The constructed facilities, spanning nearly 65,000 square meters, house workshops for various production use.

A recent on-site evaluation by experts from the Development and Reform Commission of Suzhou and a third-party expert group unanimously affirmed the project's compliance with approved construction plans.
