Taicang Flex Moulds Co Ltd, a Sino-German joint venture based in Taicang has strategically ventured into countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative since 2017.
Specializing in innovative building housing molds, the company seamlessly combines traditional Chinese molding structures with German craftsmanship. These molds, renowned for wear resistance and seismic durability, have left their mark on vital infrastructures, including ports, bridges, and modern venues in different nations.
With a humble start in 2014, the company's annual sales is projected to hit 40 million yuan in 2023, of which 90 percent is from partner countries of the Belt and Road Initiative. The journey began with outreach via emails to foreign brick factories, and their first order was from a Dubai-based company. Today, over 200 clients across Qatar, the UAE, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, Malaysia and beyond attest to the company's international presence.
Beyond business, the molds played a crucial role in constructing the stadiums of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The success reflects not just economic gains but also the establishment of trust and collaboration between nations, enabling a positive shift in perceptions of molds manufactured in China.
As an integral player connecting Chinese and foreign enterprises along the Belt and Road, the company foresees a future with accelerated development. The enterprise exemplifies the success of Sino-German cooperation, contributing to the technological exchange and the export sector.
