Time Out Shanghai awarded Rothenburg Waterfront Street the prestigious title of the annual urban short-vacation destination.

Time Out Shanghai, an English magazine affiliated to Time Out published by Time Out Group, renowned as the "Urban Life Bible," awarded nearly 40 distinctions, recognizing landmarks and services that epitomize the city's essence.

The Rothenburg Waterfront Street, nestled in Haiyunti, Taicang with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, artfully replicates the Bavarian-style architecture of Germany's southern town.

Boasting an array of formats, including dining, shopping, leisure, accommodation, and entertainment, the street accommodates nearly 40 permanent merchants and diverse mobile stalls, offering a myriad of experiences for both locals and tourists.

Time Out Shanghai, guided by international service standards and the representation of Shanghai's unique cultural traits, endorsed the street as a microcosm of the city's lifestyle. Monthly themed events held in the street foster cultural exchange, exemplified by the success of its first cultural carnival and the 18th Taicang Rothenburg Beer Festival, making the street a premier destination for urbanites seeking a micro-vacation experience.
