Nike's logistics center in Taicang, Suzhou, Jiangsu province has been named a model case of green and low-carbon energy transformation by the National Energy Administration.

Due to its successful integration of wind and solar power, the center stands out as China's first zero-carbon smart logistics park. It boasts a remarkable 100 percent coverage of renewable energy sources.

In collaboration with the State Grid Taicang Power Supply Company, the energy needs of the center are entirely met by a 4-megawatt rooftop solar system and a 6-megawatt decentralized wind power generator within the park.

Additionally, a geothermal heat pump, situated 90 meters below ground, provides energy for air conditioning in office areas, ensuring an instant and sustainable power supply.

As the first enterprise in China's warehousing and logistics sector to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification, Nike's logistics center sets a new benchmark for green and low-carbon transformation in the country's logistics and warehousing industry. It is driving the development of zero-carbon practices in the global logistics and supply chain sector.
