Taicang is moving forward with digitalization efforts and approval system reforms to expedite its investment attraction and project construction processes.

For smoother approvals, the Statistics Bureau of Taicang has taken the lead nationwide in introducing parallel approval processes across three segments — land, construction, and bidding. Meanwhile, it is assigning specialized personnel to undertake specific tasks and tackle the bottlenecks and challenges encountered by enterprises.

The bureau has also launched an innovative cross-departmental coordination mechanism for the integrated management of multiple closely related, high-volume matters. By creating a unified online service portal and high-efficiency, in-person service windows, it ensures full-cycle support for enterprises.

The bureau has also incorporated artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into its government services. Leveraging an "AI+ Intellectual Commercial Registration" service system has helped streamline the business license registration process for enterprises.

Moving forward, Taicang will continue to improve its approval services for major projects, further accelerating project construction and optimizing the business environment.
