Two projects from Jiangyan district have recently been selected as excellent cultural tourism consumption cases in Jiangsu province for the 2024-2025 period.

One is Qinhu Lake Apailang Creativity Park. As the first intelligent play park in Taizhou, it uses an immersive, interactive "artificial intelligence+" system to create a diverse array of tourism scenarios.
The park boasts five distinct experience zones. The Joyful Deer natural interactive zone offers children the chance to traverse forest paths and discover elk-related relics. The Harvest Continent creative farming zone is a blend of hands-on agricultural activities and imaginative educational experiences. The Boat Story Camp cultural camping zone provides camping opportunities, along with access to markets showcasing intangible cultural heritage items. Lastly, the Genius Fish Pond fishing culture zone features the Crab Trap Adventure, where visitors can enjoy watery fun and delve into the rich local fishing heritage.

The other is the 2025 Jiangyan Food Carnival. Leveraging the popularity of the Jiangsu Football City League, it has blended sports fervor with the night-market economy and local culture. Since its launch on July 8, it has received an average of over 10,000 visitors per night, with a single-day peak of over 60,000 visitors. Online livestreams for the event have garnered 20 million interactions, with three appearances on the trending list of Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok. The carnival has attracted over 500,000 visitors in total.
