The digital archive of Rugao was recently honored as a provincial 5A-level digital archive, becoming the first digital archive to achieve the designation among the counties, districts and cities in Nantong, according to the Nantong archives bureau. 

Rugao has been striving to digitalize the city’s archives in recent years. As part of its efforts, the city has been promoting the construction of an archives application platform to serve local residents.

Rugao has invested nearly 2.6 million yuan ($378,335) to ensure the steady operation of the application platform.
