A fire station in Wushui commercial area along with the fire brigade of Gangzha district, Nantong city, held a fire safety event for local residents on Jan 29.

Members of the public were invited to take part in the fire demonstrations and were taught about gas leak prevention, the safe use of electrical appliances, the importance of unobstructed fire exits, and how to escape in an emergency.

A fire drill was held after the demonstration.
