Fan Xiaoyan, deputy head of Tongzhou district, paid an investigation tour to key scenic spots in the district, urging to improve their service quality.

Fan made this investigation tour, together with officials in charge of public security, natural resources, housing and urban-rural development, and transportation departments, before the 2019 China Forest Tour Festival, which falls on October this year.

They visited Nantong Intercontinental Green Expo Park (NIGEP) and the Flower Town.

The NIGEP is China’s first 4A level tourist scenic spot. Fan checked effect of the road reconstruction on the entrance of the scenic spot, the parking lot construction as well as the improvement of the tourist service center.

As one of the key tourist projects of both the city and district government, the green expo park was urged to further improve its infrastructure.

“The China Forest Tour Festival is an important opportunity for scenic spots in Nantong to promote themselves,” Fan said. She urged to accelerate the improvement of the environment in the scenic spots and improve Tongzhou’s image of tourism development.
