A themed learning activity was held in Gangzha district, Nantong, Jiangsu province on Oct 21.

Wei Jiyou, who has made significant contributions to China's aerospace industry, was invited to deliver a lecture during the activity. He has helped design satellite launching towers and some of his designs have won national awards.

During his lecture, he discussed the development of China's aerospace industry and encouraged the public to take on more responsibility and contribute more to the country's development.

Party members and cadres who took part in the activity said they would work to provide better public services.
