A family activity was held in Jiangyuan village, Jiuhua town, Rugao on May 9 to mark Mother's Day and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Mothers and children visited a local rice wine museum, where they learned about the Party's history and the importance of clean governance. They also tried their hands at making fermented glutinous rice and painting rice wine bottles and gave them as gifts to their mothers.
