A group of nine expats – from Italy, Mexico, Japan, Pakistan, Iran and India – participated in the Go Jiangsu Social Media Trip for Foreigners in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province on Sept 13-14.

The group visited two enterprises – Liz Electronics (Nantong) Co Ltd and Hongbang Die Casting (Nantong) Co Ltd – located in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and the Nanshan Lake Park in Tongzhou district and witnessed the high-quality development of the district.

As the only State-level high-tech zone in the city, the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone is committed to building an industrial system involving a leading automobile and parts industry, and the two emerging industries of new-generation information technology and intelligent manufacturing.

The Go Jiangsu Social Media Trip for Foreigners is a special branded event organized to enable expats to learn more about Jiangsu by participating in a variety of cultural activities in the province's different regions.

Since 2018, over 100 foreigners have taken part in the program.
