Tiger-themed exhibition to make a debut at Nantong Museum on Jan 28

In traditional Chinese culture, the tiger is regarded as the king of the beasts. It can dispel all demons and ghosts and can also ward off evil spirits. As a result, the image of the tiger is often used in daily necessities. [Photo/WeChat account: NantongMuseum]

Chongchuan district, the main urban district of Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has enjoyed a reputation as a "land of promise" since ancient times. It holds jurisdiction over 15 sub-districts and two provincial development zones and one provincial high-tech zone, making it the most densely populated region of Nantong.
