Jiangsu Haohan Information Technology Co Ltd, specialized in the research and development (R&D) of intelligent video analysis technology, is located in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in the Tongzhou district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province.

Last year, it became a "big holder" of intellectual property rights (IPRs) by adding 10 authorized invention patents. It went on to be on the 2021 list of provincial high-tech enterprises with the most growth potential in Jiangsu.

Since its start in 2010, the company is committed to the innovation of technologies, products, and services, providing premium solutions on video surveillance analysis and security products R&D for its clients.

Its knock-out product – an intelligent visual identification device for transmission lines – was developed in 2015. The device can identify entities near high-voltage line, calculate exactly how far the body is from the line, and raise an alarm. This mechanism greatly improves operation efficiency of the power grid and reduces the incidence of power accidents.

The device was installed on the country's first ultra-high-voltage (UHV) transmission line. "It was proposed that 13 UHV transmission lines will be newly built in the development plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), which is going to be a huge market," said Dai Xianglong, executive deputy general manager of Haohan.

With nearly 10 years of data accumulation in the development and application of artificial intelligence image recognition and image geometry 3D reconstruction technology, Haohan helps raise the management level of China's energy sector in a smart way.

At present, it has had 24 authorized patents for invention, 28 authorized patents for utility models, two appearance patents, and 10 software copyrights.
