Listed company Jiangsu Hongde Special Parts Co Ltd – based in the Tongzhou district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – on May 23 received four certificates required for the construction of its new precision machining project.

An official said it took only one working day to get them after the land transaction was completed.

The project went through filing the plans and an energy saving assessment, environmental impact assessment and other procedures at the early stage, which paved the way for the property transaction, according to Ge Zhenjun, deputy director of the Tongzhou administrative approval bureau.

The project was recognized as a municipal-level key project by Nantong and will cost 108 million yuan ($16.2 million). The plant is expected to be completed and start production by the end of the current year, Ge added.

Since preparations began, Tongzhou district departments took the initiative to provide streamlined services for Hongde, smoothing the way for the fast-track approval.
