Hengli (Nantong) Industrial Park, developed by Global 500 company the Hengli Group at a cost of 60 billion yuan ($9 billion), is located in Wujie town – administered by the Tongzhou district of Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province.

Constructed in four stages, the first three phases have been completed and they can manufacture 3.3 million metric tons of new polyester fiber and 1 million tons of low elastic polyester yarn annually. Now, work on the fourth phase is due to start.

In recent years, the park has moved to install major solar rooftop power generation capacity as an important measure to promote the low-carbon transformation of its energy.

Its solar power generation project, built in four phases, has gone into operation and is running efficiently. With a total installed capacity of 60 megawatts, it is able to generate 55 million kilowatts of electricity a year, making it the biggest enterprise-run solar power generating facility on a rooftop in Jiangsu.
