Preparations for the 32nd Nantong Chrysanthemum Exhibition in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, have drawn to a close in recent days.

Unlike previous editions, this year's exhibition will take place at the Nantong Botanical Garden instead of Tangzha Park starting from late October.

This year's exhibition will consist of 15 outdoor chrysanthemum-themed landscape designs, flower arrangement exhibitions, and chrysanthemum exhibitions.

Hai'an's exhibition area uses colorful chrysanthemums as a background and will showcase 18 species of chrysanthemum, including many newly-cultivated species.

"Pompom chrysanthemums will be our highlight," said Wang Junwei from the landscaping company of Hai'an Urban Construction Group, which is responsible for Hai'an's exhibition area.

Pompom chrysanthemums, also known as button mums, produce masses of small, round blossoms in a variety of different colors. Wang added that they will display six colors of pompom chrysanthemums.
