The Wang Guotong Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition kicked off in Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Dec 2, local media reported. 

The exhibition features 120 works of calligraphy, painting, and rubbing. 

According to the organizer, all colorful paintings showcased in the exhibition were created using traditional mineral pigments.

Among the works showcased in the event, the rubbing works of eaves tiles, which showcase the local art feature of Nantong, have attracted many visitors.

The exhibition will run until Dec 14.
