Nantong Jianghai Capacitor Co Ltd in Tongzhou district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently listed as a 2023 national enterprise technology center, the only recipient of this national recognition in Nantong.

Jianghai Capacitor, founded in 1958, is a globally-rare type of high-tech enterprise that specializes in the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of three major types of capacitors.

The company has been focusing on the improvement of its R&D capabilities. The company currently holds 133 valid invention patents and has been involved in formulating eight national standards. It has also undertaken 13 key scientific research projects at the provincial and national levels.

To date, the company has been designated as a national demonstration company for intellectual property, provincial innovative leading enterprise, and provincial top 100 innovative enterprise.

In recent years, Tongzhou has been encouraging and helping local companies to improve their technology centers.

The district is currently home to two national enterprise technology centers, 42 provincial centers and 21 municipal centers.
