A delegation from the municipal government of Quistello, Italy, engaged in economic and trade exploration, arrived in Hai'an for a collaborative exchange on Nov 6.

The delegation included Quistello Mayor Gloriana Dall'oglio, San Giovanni del Dosso Mayor Angela Zibordi, Haian vice-mayor Lu Lin, and other dignitaries.

During the discussion session, Lu extended a warm welcome to the Italian Quistello municipal government economic and trade delegation and provided an overview of Hai'an's positive development trends and favorable investment policies. He expressed the hope to strengthen cooperation and communication, expanding the path of collaboration for mutual benefits and fruitful outcomes.

A strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the Hai'an Development Zone and the municipal governments of Quistello and San Giovanni del Dosso. The focus of the collaboration revolves around transforming the Sino-Italian Hai'an Ecological Park into a world-class, top-tier ecological industrial demonstration zone and a Sino-Italian bilateral economic and trade cooperation demonstration area.

The collaboration encompasses industries such as machinery, food, environmental protection, furniture, textiles, automotive components, and industrial robots. Additionally, it aims to facilitate exchanges promoting talent growth, industry development, the establishment of a Sino-European industrial park, and effective attraction of projects in the park.

Both mayors of Quistello and San Giovanni del Dosso provided insights into the current development status and environment of their respective cities, expressing anticipation for future collaboration.
