Tongzhou district in Nantong, Jiangsu province, recently introduced its 2024 Business Environment Enhancement Plan.

The new plan includes 12 additional measures that were not in previous versions, such as one-stop relocation services for enterprises, the normalization of joint inspections, and the optimization of the entire public resource transaction process.

"The latest version of Tongzhou's business environment plan is based on thorough research and tailored to address local challenges, enhance reform outcomes, and further improve the business climate," said Ni Jianzhong, director of the Tongzhou development and reform commission.

Additionally, the Tongzhou data bureau launched a smart project approval platform for construction projects in last December. This platform features four modules—preliminary planning, smart guidance, intelligent consultation, and legal regulations—providing businesses with the 24/7 support from project initiation to completion.

According to Ge Zhenjun, deputy director of the Tongzhou data bureau, the platform has received thousands of visits and guided hundreds of projects since its launch. It has reduced the time required for project approvals and minimized the need for multiple trips during approval processes.
