Rugao, a county-level city in Nantong, recently saw the signing of agreements for 25 major projects, spanning industries such as automotive components, electricity, smart equipment, hydrogen energy, new materials, biopharmaceuticals, and communications. These projects are characterized by their strong technological orientation, significant development potential, and innovation.

Five of the projects will be housed in the Electric Power and Smart Equipment Industrial Park, which is working to form an industrial cluster focusing on high-end, intelligent, and green technologies.

Meanwhile, Kangrui New Material Technology (Nantong) Co Ltd recently increased its investment in a metal alloy materials and electronic components project. "We chose Rugao for its vibrant industrial environment," said a spokesperson from the company.

The influx of these projects underscores Rugao's appeal as a hub for advanced industries, leveraging its strengths in technology and innovation to drive economic growth and industrial transformation in the region.
