The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism announced on Dec 26 that nine scenic spots in the province have been designated as national-level 4A-level tourist attractions, including Wonderful Farm in Nantong.

Located in Chongchuan district, Wonderful Farm spans nearly 800 mu (53.33 hectares) and has an investment of approximately 500 million yuan ($68.5 million). It opened to the public on Oct 1, 2021.

The farm offers a wide variety of attractions and activities, including ecological sightseeing, family-friendly entertainment, educational programs, intangible cultural heritage experiences, employee retreats, a hot spring hotel, unique dining, boutique guesthouses, and leisure agriculture. It is designed to be a premier eco-tourism destination in the Yangtze River Delta region.

With seven thematic sections, the farm integrates agricultural elements into its attractions and activities, creating a comprehensive leisure and vacation spot focused on family and children’s education.

Looking ahead, Wonderful Farm plans to further promote agricultural education, hands-on farming experiences, and cultural learning. It aims to encourage visitors to connect with nature, engage in farm work, and enjoy the simple pleasures of rural life.
