Changjiang town in Rugao, Nantong, has recently welcomed the signing of two significant projects, each valued at 500 million yuan ($68.2 million), marking a promising beginning to the year and driving innovation and growth in the region.

One is the high-end equipment lubrication materials project, signed on Jan 2. The project focuses on researching, developing, manufacturing, and selling lubricants for high-end equipment. Once fully operational, it is poised to undertake major scientific and technological challenges in high-end equipment lubrication and incubate influential high-tech industrial companies in East China.

The other is Jiangsu Ruihai Ship Engineering Co, which finalized the signing of its marine special equipment manufacturing project on Jan 6. The company has established close cooperation with renowned European ship equipment manufacturers, providing technology and equipment to major shipyards worldwide. The new project is expected to significantly bolster Rugao's marine economy and contribute to Nantong's broader strategy of becoming a leading maritime city.
