The Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province recent released the list of newly established provincial postdoctoral innovation practice bases. Among the selected companies were Jiangsu Shitong Biotechnology Co Ltd and Jiangsu Bangtec Environmental Sci-Tech Co Ltd, both located in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

Jiangsu Shitong Biotechnology has formed long-term strategic partnerships with institutions such as the National Clinical Research Center for Digestive Diseases, national digestive key laboratories, and Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The company has been included in key national projects, such as the Ministry of Science and Technology's "Research on Prevention and Treatment of Common Diseases" and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s innovation task for artificial intelligence medical devices.

Bangtec has brought in a team of three PhD researchers with over 10 years of experience in membrane treatment technology from CloudMi Electronics. The team has provided crucial technological support to the company in developing solutions for wastewater treatment in the photovoltaic battery manufacturing industry, a market valued in the billions of yuan.

As of now, NHIZ is home to 15 postdoctoral research stations at various levels, has recruited over 20 postdoctoral researchers, and has filed more than 150 core technology patents.
