The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone was honored as a "2024 Benchmark Industrial Park for International Business Environment" at the Urban Innovation Development and International Cooperation Conference on Jan 12.

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences guided the selection process, with evaluations conducted by an expert panel from Tsinghua University. Among all cities and industrial parks nationwide, NETDA was the sole recipient of this honor in Nantong and one of only two in Jiangsu province.

This recognition marks another milestone for the development zone following its inclusion in the "Top 100 Best Practices for Business Environment Development in China" last September.

NETDA launched a three-year action plan to continuously improve its business environment, implementing 109 targeted initiatives over three consecutive years. These measures, tailored to the area's unique characteristics and local industries' needs, have resulted in nearly 80 innovative practices highlighting regional strengths. As a result, businesses in the zone have reported a growing sense of satisfaction and achievement.
