The inaugural Spring Festival Lantern Show at Langshan Mountain Scenic Area in Nantong kicked off on Jan 14 with the theme of fiery trees and silver flowers illuminating Langshan Mountain's night skies.

As night fell, the Langshan Mountain Scenic Area was illuminated with dazzling lights. Over a dozen sets of cutting-edge creative lantern displays were unveiled individually, lighting up the night skies.

The Blessing Light Tree Shadow lantern set is dreamlike and enchanting, with lights and shadows intertwining to make it seem like every tree was adorned in festive attire. The Langshan Mountain Overlooking the Sea set showcases the grandeur of Langshan Mountain, presenting the unique spectacle of mountains and sea. Other lantern sets, such as Prosperity and Fortune, each had distinctive features, vividly displaying the romantic charm of traditional Chinese festivals.

In addition to the creative lantern displays, the scenic area has prepared various traditional intangible cultural heritage activities such as iron flower shows. Interactive activities like sugar painting and exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage cuisine were also held during the show, allowing visitors to savor delicious food and experience the allure of traditional culture.
