The Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission has released the 2025 key projects plan, with Qidong securing nine projects worth a total investment of 44.13 billion yuan ($6.02 billion). The number of projects is higher than that of any other city in Nantong.

The selected projects include Wison's smart manufacturing base, Himile Heavy Industry's smart manufacturing base, and Bayer's new consumer health products supply center.

In addition, the Jiangsu commission has also compiled a list of key industrial projects driven by private investment, with Nantong contributing 37 projects, three of which are from Qidong.

Qidong remains committed to its "Project First" development strategy, emphasizing high-quality, significant, and impactful projects. The city aims to explore breakthroughs in strategic initiatives and achieve tangible results on a project scale.
