Jiangsu Jiaming Intelligent Manufacturing Technology held a groundbreaking ceremony for its intelligent gravure printing equipment base on Jan 13 in the Rugao High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($68.19 million), the project has set its sights on the company's flagship product, the Surpass600 intelligent gravure printing machine. This equipment sets a new global speed record of 600 meters per minute in gravure printing, surpassing European counterparts with 40 percent lower energy consumption and doubling efficiency.

Once completed and put into production, the project is expected to produce 100 units of various types of gravure printing machines annually, with estimated annual taxable sales of 500 million yuan. The successful implementation of this project will significantly strengthen the competitive edge of the development zone in the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry.
