An art exhibition featuring over 120 works raised its curtain at the Yunjing Community in Chongchuan district, Nantong, on Jan 17.

These artworks, created by nearly 60 local artists, include exquisite embroidery, charming blue calico cloth, finely carved craft sculptures, vivid clay sculptures, lacquerware, paper-cutting, silk tapestries, and more.

During the event, a series of arts and crafts lectures were held, with cultural scholars from the city serving as speakers, sharing the history, current status, and development trends of Nantong arts and crafts, the relationship between arts and crafts, and contemporary aesthetic life. This initiative aims to integrate arts and crafts works into citizens' daily lives and explore new exhibition models.

The exhibition, organized by the Nantong Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, the Nantong Folk Literature and Art Association, and the Nantong Arts and Crafts Industry Association, is scheduled to run until March 15.
