Nantong rolls out incentive measures to promote industrialization

Nantong in Jiangsu province has recently rolled out 10 measures to accelerate new industrialization. These measures are expected to come into effect in March and is set to be valid until December 31, 2027.

In supporting the construction of high-end manufacturing projects and high-quality projects that belong to the 16 advanced manufacturing clusters and 50 key industrial chains in the province and have a total investment of 500 million yuan ($68.60 million) or $30 million or more will receive a maximum subsidy of 100 million yuan.

To promote the transformation of manufacturing enterprises towards intelligence and digitization, projects involving intelligent technology upgrades exceeding 5 million yuan may receive a maximum subsidy of 10 million yuan, while digitization projects exceeding 2 million yuan may receive a subsidy of up to 3 million yuan. Eligible projects will not receive more than 10 percent of the investment amount as a reward.

Regarding the advancement of intelligent manufacturing and platform construction, newly recognized national and provincial intelligent factories will receive rewards of up to 2 million, respectively.

Specialized projects will be rewarded with subsidies of up to 10 percent of the eligible investment amount, up to a maximum of 20 million yuan.

These measures also include leveraging financial resources to support the real economy, improving the quality of industrial land, and supporting the cultivation of high-end talents within companies.
