As the apparel industry undergoes consumption upgrades, digital transformation, and a push toward sustainability in 2025, Jiangsu Times Textile Technology in Rugao is embracing new opportunities.
"Our current capacity utilization exceeds 90 percent, and the company is in a strong growth position," said Yang Min, general manager of the company. "Production capacity has increased compared to last year, and orders continue to flow in steadily."
As a high-tech enterprise specializing in knitted fabrics and apparel, Times has integrated emerging industry trends into its operations. Last year, the company invested nearly 10 million yuan ($1.37 million) in intelligent upgrades to its production processes, combining smart manufacturing, industrial internet, and customization. This transformation optimized production workflows, ensuring seamless collaboration between personnel, equipment, and software—ultimately boosting efficiency by nearly 20 percent.
Innovation in production methods, fabric technology, and product design has become the company's key competitive advantage. "We are expanding our efforts in material research and development," Yang said. "Gaining an edge in materials means taking the lead in the apparel industry. We are committed to technological transformation and innovation to secure a greater market share in the future."
