The 15-day photography exhibition centered around Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province, kicked off at the Qidong administrative center on Feb 24.
Photographers from mainstream media, such as Xinhua News Agency and People's Daily, visited tourist attractions, industrial parks, construction sites and other places in Qidong over the past year. They used their professional and unique perspectives to capture and showcase vibrant and thriving Qidong pursuing modern Chinese-style development.
The photography exhibition displays the photos from these photographers as well as those from Qidong and Nantong.
As the only region in Jiangsu along the Yangtze River and the Yellow Sea and adjacent to Shanghai, Qidong is actively promoting the construction of the Bei'an Pilot Area of the Yangtze River estuary for industrial innovation and green development. The city is deepening its integration of resources, platforms, and project cooperation with Shanghai and southern Jiangsu, aiming to become the preferred city undertaking resources from Shanghai and southern Jiangsu.
