Nantong Tongyi Aerospace Technology, the first company in Qidong to be listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange, has strengthened its independent R&D efforts, developing multiple proprietary processes and innovative products.

Founded in 2008, Tongyi Aerospace faced talent loss and limited product offerings. Determined to drive growth, company leader Zhang Xinrong shifted focus to advanced materials, creating TPU-based aviation membranes and protective films.

In 2015, the company established Shanghai Zitu New Materials Technology to specialize in TPU research and high-performance polymers. Subsequent investments led to a full industrial chain, covering raw material production to final membrane products. Today, Tongyi Aerospace produces protective films for aviation and automotive use, with its nanocoating technology achieving over 90 percent heat insulation.

The company continues to lead in aviation materials, securing 155 patents, including 33 invention patents. Its oxygen masks and aviation adhesive tapes now compete with international products. Additionally, Tongyi Aerospace participated in drafting national industry standards for polyurethane protective films and automotive paint protection film applications.

Tongyi Aerospace developed high-quality car protection films and expanded into the civilian market, ensuring full in-house production from raw materials to finished products. The company has partnered with major brands like Xiaomi and Tuhu Automotive Service.

With six TPU membrane production lines and growing output, Tongyi Aerospace is set for rapid growth in 2025, further expanding its product range and industry impact.
