Dasheng Library and the Zuwang Community Comprehensive Cultural Service Center in Chongchuan district, Nantong, were recently selected for the 2025 New Public Cultural Space initiative by Jiangsu province.

As Nantong's first 24-hour urban library, Dasheng Library was built according to the province's new standards for public cultural spaces. It covers an area of 220 square meters and houses over 6,000 books, catering to readers of all ages and interests. It has also enhanced the efficiency of its services and now provides an even better reading experience, attracting more visitors than before.

The Zuwang Community Comprehensive Cultural Service Center, which opened in November 2021, offers a variety of community services and features a home for people with disabilities and a volunteer service space.

Through a combination of online and in-person services, as well as extended hours, the center serves nearly 20,000 residents annually, making it popular within the community.
