As the spring plowing season approaches in Tongzhou district, Nantong, intelligent agricultural machinery is being employed at unmanned agricultural demonstration bases and unmanned farms in Liuqiao town and Shizong town.

Tongzhou district has been pushing forward the development of intelligent agriculture in recent years. As of the end of 2024, it has established one provincial-level unmanned farm and 16 municipal-level unmanned farms.

Additionally, the district boasts a total of 1,317 pieces of intelligent agricultural equipment, comprising 488 assisted driving devices, 392 intelligent monitoring terminals, 394 plant protection drones, and 43 unmanned driving systems.
