Ji Xunming, a renowned neurosurgeon and expert in stroke prevention and translational medicine research, currently serves as the president of Capital Medical University.
Born in December 1970 in Hai'an, Nantong, Jiangsu province, Ji has made significant contributions to the study of both arterial and venous strokes. His innovative research has been published in prestigious journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), The Lancet Neurology, and Nature. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2023 and has also been recognized as a Highly Cited Chinese Researcher by Elsevier for five consecutive years.
