Nantong Youth Chinese Orchestra invited to perform in Russia

Tambov State University in Russia has invited the Nantong Youth Chinese Orchestra to visit in September this year for the "Tambov China Week" cultural exchange event.
This invitation was extended during the visit of the Russian university's delegation to the Nantong Normal College in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on March 24.
This invitation provides an international platform for the orchestra and signifies the beginning of strong cooperation between the two regions in education, culture, and trade.
Tambov State University, located in the capital city of Tambov Oblast, Tambov, is a leading comprehensive university in Russia and the Central Black Earth Region, and a major educational and research hub in the region. According to Xia Xingchen, deputy director of the Russia-China Center at the university, inviting the Nantong Youth Chinese Orchestra as a representative for this cultural exchange aims to establish cooperation with Nantong and local universities.
In the future, TSU hopes to collaborate with Nantong Normal College on student and faculty exchanges, and academic research to promote exchanges and cooperation between Tambov Oblast and Nantong in education, culture, and trade.
The Nantong Youth Chinese Orchestra is managed by Nantong Normal College. Since its establishment in 2019, the orchestra has participated in various art activities in the province and the city. It has successfully held New Year concerts multiple times and performed exceptionally at major themed events, earning wide acclaim.
