An investment promotion conference of Chongchuan district, Nantong, was held in Shanghai on Dec 9, during which agreements on 16 high-quality projects were signed, further promoting the development of Chongchuan's modern service industry. 

The signed projects cover multiple fields such as software information services, logistics services, and automotive services. Among them, the IWG co-working space project is invested by IWG Group, a global leader in flexible office space solutions; the Meicheng project has a total investment of 4 million yuan ($566,887.63), mainly engaged in Apple digital product retail, with an expected annual sales exceeding 50 million yuan. 

As the central urban area of Nantong, Chongchuan has developed modern services in an effort to further boost economic development. In the first three quarters of this year, the added value of services reached 104 billion yuan, accounting for 70.6 percent of GDP. It is expected that the annual sales will reach 428 billion yuan, accounting for one-third of Nantong's total.
