The 2025 Qidong Culture and Tourism (Yangtze River Delta) Promotion Event toured the cities of Huzhou and Changzhou from Dec 2 to 5, presenting immersive performances, targeted promotions, and interactive experiences showcasing Qidong's cultural and tourism strengths.

The first event opened on Dec 2 in Huzhou, Zhejiang province. Representatives from Yuantuojiao Resort, Jianghai Lanwan Resort, and Qilong town introduced their latest tourism offerings. A performance of the local art form Qidong pingtan brought Qidong's cultural heritage to life for the audience.

The event also unveiled new autumn-winter travel routes and witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Qidong and Huzhou, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

The promotional tour continued in Changzhou on the evening of Dec 5. Interactive photo spots, cultural creative booths, market-style displays, and looping promotional videos invited guests to experience Qidong's coastal charm. A lineup of performances, including erhu and dance, traditional ensemble music, and a female vocal ensemble, presented Qidong's idyllic landscapes, cultural richness, and maritime traditions from multiple angles.

A "Drive to Qidong" flag presentation ceremony was also held, enhancing Qidong's efforts to tap into the Yangtze River Delta's self-drive tourism market and attract more road-trip visitors to the city.
