The International Robot Exhibition (IREX) took place from Dec 3 to 6, drawing 654 companies from 23 countries. Haimen-based Nantong Kemei Robot, in partnership with Aubo Robot, made a remarkable appearance at the event.
Its AI vision robot workstation features a deep learning vision system, enabling 3D-level vision picking with 2D cameras. The positioning accuracy reaches 0.01 millimeters, allowing for precise identification of workpiece features and defect detection.
At the exhibition, Wang Xiangtao, general manager of Kemei Robot, performed live demonstrations, attracting numerous international professional audiences. Many overseas business representatives requested technical materials and arranged in-depth discussions on-site.
Founded in 2018, Kemei has grown from a single robotic arm producer to an intelligent production line integrator. Today, its technology is extensively used in high-end fields such as semiconductor manufacturing, automotive part inspection, and medical consumables assembly.
With support from the local government, its new factory, which has a total investment of over 100 million yuan ($14.17 million) and covers 15,000 square meters, is under construction and is expected to be operational in six months.
"After the new factory is completed, we aim to achieve an annual sales revenue of 300 million yuan within two to three years," said Wang with confidence.
