CCEDZ promotes Nantong as higher standard national civilized city
To participate in and contribute to building Nantong into a higher standard national civilized city, the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone (CCEDZ) held a conference on June 29 to convey municipal plans and clarify its working priorities and responsibilities.
Cao Hao, deputy secretary of the CCEDZ Party working committee, attended and delivered a speech, with Ni Jun, deputy director of the CCEDZ management committee, chairing the conference.
Cao emphasized several working requirements, among them that CCEDZ should keep up with the latest evaluation criteria, ensure timely attention to weaknesses and shortages, and focus on the key areas of main streets and commercial areas as well as key groups of floating vendors and the floating population. Cao also stressed that officials should play leading roles to help everyone take part in the establishment of a national civilized city.
During the conference, Xu Hailu, chairman of the CCEDZ women's federation, conveyed Nantong's new requirements on the establishment of a national civilized city this year. Xu emphasized the key adjustment and measurement issues in the new version of the "national civilized city evaluation standards" to help relevant departments clarify and adjust their working priorities.
