Summit on innovation and entrepreneurship kicks off in Chongchuan
The 2021 Collective Wisdom Chongchuan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit was held in Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 30.
Wang Kai, deputy mayor of Nantong, attended the event and delivered a keynote speech. Wang said that Nantong has been adhering to development strategies focusing on innovation and talent. In the future, the city will continue to provide development space for top-flight personnel's innovative and entrepreneurial activities.
Hu Yongjun, Party secretary of Chongchuan district, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. He stated that Chongchuan has had a tradition of developing industries for over a century. With a solid industrial foundation, comprehensive supporting services and superior public resources, Chongchuan has taken the initiative to get involved in the construction of the Nantong sci-tech innovation belt along the Yangtze River and focuses on the development of information technology application innovation, internet of vehicles, health and other leading industries.
Chongchuan district, the main urban area of Nantong, will continuously work to optimize services for resident enterprises and strive to create a more favorable environment for investor growth, according to Yang Wanping, acting head of Chongchuan.
A slew of projects on industry-university-research cooperation, financial support, and scientific and technological innovation were signed at the summit.
