Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering Co Ltd, headquartered in Chongchuan Economic Development Zone in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, focuses on infrastructure construction, equipment installation and maintenance of offshore wind power facilities.

With a registered capital of 260 million yuan ($40.9 million), the company was founded in June 2010. After over a decade of development, Longyuan Zhenhua has become a leader in China's offshore wind power construction.

By the end of 2021, Longyuan Zhenhua has completed the foundation construction of 874 sets of wind turbines, installed 654 sets of offshore wind turbines, and laid 140 kilometers of submarine cables. The taxable sales last year reached 6.5 billion yuan, hitting a new high, according to a report released by the company on Dec 31.

At present, Longyuan Zhenhua has expanded its business to the whole country, and established nine bases in East China's Fujian province, South China's Guangdong province and other places. In 2020, it won the first prize of Jiangsu science and technology progress award.

As a leader and pioneer in China's offshore wind power industry, Longyuan Zhenhua focuses on scientific and technological innovation, and has achieved remarkable results in research and development.

In May 2018, the then world's largest jack-up offshore wind power construction platform "Longyuan Zhenhua No 3" was put into use, which is a key weapon for China's offshore wind power construction to move from shallow seas to offshore sea.

At the end of 2019, the first set of 2,500 KJ large hydraulic piling hammer in China was developed, breaking the technical monopoly of European countries in that field for many years.

The offshore wind power sector will usher in a 10-year golden development period in that China raised a target of reaching peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. Longyuan Zhenhua will commit itself to developing core markets and projects, improving its service capability, strives to achieve output value of over 10 billion yuan by 2025.
