Chongchuan district in Nantong city - in East China's Jiangsu province – on Aug 11 held a new generation information technology investment promotions conference in Beijing, to market the district's favorable investment environment and chase business opportunities with leading Beijing enterprises, local media reported.

Three major projects – an eco-friendly industrial demonstration zone for the protection of the Yangtze River, Ferretto Group's intelligent storage systems and an information consulting and management system - signed up to settle in the Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone of Jiangsu Province.

Following the development trends in new generation information technology, Chongchuan district is focusing on the new national infrastructure strategy.

It is strongly developing applications innovations for informatization and high-end manufacturing, including artificial intelligence, integrated circuits and robots, according to Liu Hao, Party secretary of Chongchuan district.

Officials said that to date, a batch of high-quality projects with major investment potential have started construction with Beijing enterprises – including Venustech, HiRain Technologies and Topsec Technologies - participating, to lead Chongchuan to a promising future in new generation information technology .

In addition, Liu urged as many companies as possible to view Chongchuan as their first choice in strategic investment sites - with his city providing the favorable environment, preferential policies and high-quality services - to build a bright future.
